Oil production by LUKOIL is up 7% to 97.2 mln tons in 2014

Oil production by LUKOIL made up 97.2 million tons in January-December 2014, inclusive of 86.3 million tons in Russia and 10.9 million tons – abroad (+7% compared to 2013). Press-service of the company states. Oil production abroad was due to commissioning of the deposit “Zapadnaya Kurna-2” in Iraq. There was opened 14 deposits, based on the results of geological epxloraiton, and 38 oil reservoirs at the producing fields in 2014. The company received 18 new subsurface licenses.
