SOCAR received more gas from AChG in 2014

A state-run company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) received 2.8 billion cubic meters of associated gas from the Azeri-Chirague-Guineshly block of oil-and-gas deposits, developed by an international consortium, headed by BP.

Under the contract, part of the associated gas is passed over to SOCAR free of charge within the frame of AChG development. Another part is pumped back into the formation to keep pressure.
