Fluor Limited has become the operator of the OGPC complex construction in Azerbaijan

​“Fluor Limited” (USA) has become the contractor of SOCAR on managing the construction of the oil and gas and petrochemicals complex (OGPC) construction in Azerbaijan. The contract will be signed until the end of March 2015, is reported.

The price of the contract is not released. Fluor Limited as a contractor on the management over the OGPC construction will help SOCAR to select and manage the contractors by the detail projection supplies, construction and putting into operation of the gas processing plant, projection of the interface, detail projection, purchase, construction and putting into operation of the petrochemicals plant.

The realization of the OGPC construction will be held in 2 stages. At the first stage it is planned to construction the gas processing plant and the petrochemicals plant, at the second stage – construct the oil refinery plant. The period of the construction works in the framework of the first stage will be 2015-2020.
