Novatek plans to produce gas liquefaction equipment in Murmansk region

Novatek OJSC plans to construct a plant on the production of equipment for gas liquefaction in the area of the Belokamenka village in the Murmansk region, the company’s head, L. Mikhelson, said.
According to him, at the present time the company considers the issue of foundation of production capacities for gas liquefaction. He didn’t mention the amount of the planned investment. He said that the attraction of the Government funds is not planned.
The periods of the project’s realization are not clear. L. Mikhelson said that now only the decision on the projection of capacities is ready.
