The Koreans are about to produce wolfram in Uzbekistan

The State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources (Goscomgeo) of Uzbekistan and Korean Shindong Resources (Shandong) are about to establish a joint venture for a construction of a mining and processing works (GOK) at the wolfram deposit Sautbai of $145 million value before the end of May.

According to a managing director of Shindong Shin Yang Woo, the JV will be created on a parity basis; the operating agreement on a creation of a joint venture might be signed before the end of May.
