“Uzkhimprom” invests $2.1 bln into chemical industry

State-run company “Uzkhimprom” will start an implementation of the projects of $2.1 billion value in 2015. It goes from the company’s programme, RIA Novosti reports.

There included 10 projects on an updating of the current and construction of new productions in the chemical sector, confirmed by the presidential decree of the President of Uzbekistan I.Karimov. Financing of projects will be carried out at the expense of foreign investments and credits in the amount of $1.29 billion and credits of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan ($486.2 mln), own funds of “Uzkhimprom” ($212 mln) and the credits of the Uzbek banks (83.7 mln dollars).
