The Government continues to discuss the negative excise tax on ethylene for petrochemicals. Chemists want to get benefit, because after the tax maneuver ethylene prices, tied to the quotations of naphtha, began to grow. Most agencies agree, but the RF Ministry of Finance is not prepared to extend the tax deduction for ethylene from straight-run petrol, which threatens the industry loss of about 20 billion roubles.
