Agreement with China by the Western route is close to be reached– Miller

The negotiations on the gas supply to China by the Western route are being held and the agreements might be reached soon, Gazprom’s head A. Miller said.

Good job has been done by the Western route a few years ago, before the priorities were set first the Eastern route and then the Western. So one can hope the agreements on the supply by the Western route might be reached soon, he said at the press conference on the results of the annual meeting of shareholders.

According to Mr. Miller, the Chinese companies showed interest in the “Vladivostok LNG” project. We will go on negotiations with them upon that project, he added.
