Gazprom approved deals with Sogaz, premium – 9.5 bln roubles

The shareholders of Gazprom OJSC at the annual meeting on June 27th approved the signing of a few insurance agreements with Sogaz. The total insurance limit by the agreements is about 18 trln roubles, the premium exceeds 9.53 bln roubles.

In particular, Gazprom’s shareholders  approved the signing of the property insurance agreement for the total amount of 16 trln roubles. The maximum premium by the agreement is 6.87 bln roubles. The agreement will be signed for a year and will cover the risks of damage and destruction of buildings and objects, cars and equipment, as well as other property of Gazprom. Moreover, the insurance company will have to cover the loss from the shutdown in the production activity if such are caused by the loss or damage of the insured property.
