I.Sechin appoints A.Demachin as new head of the Achinsk oil refinery

The President of Rosneft I.Sechin has held a meeting at the Achinsk oil refinery and took a number of personnel decisions. It is said in a statement of the company.

“The ex-first-deputy chief executive of the Saratov oil processing plant, A.Demachin has been appointed a new chief executive of the Achinsk oil refinery. He has production experience and the experience of a leader,” is said in the statement.

The early stages of the complete recovery of the Achinsk oil refinery were confirmed at the meeting.

Special attention at the meeting was given to the provision of the assistance and social support to the bereaved families and the loved ones of those injured during the incident. To date, the company has accomplished all the payments. Insurance companies fulfill their obligations on payments under the current agreements.
