Court to consider Rosneft’s claims to Russian Ministry of Energy on customs benefits

The Moscow Arbitration Court will continue to consider the complaint of Rosneft and RN-Holding, which demands to invalidate actions of the Russian Ministry of Energy and Rosnedra, which didn’t give the largest Russian oil company the approvals required for the application of reduced rates of customs duties to oil, extracted at the Verkhnechonskoye oil field.

Business media previously reported that in case of satisfaction of the Rosneft’s claims it could contend for the return of 60 billion rubles from the budget, previously paid as customs payments.
