What to be with oil prices in Q3

Balance of supply and demand on the oil market continues to be a major factor in the change in oil prices. Volatility will continue in the third quarter of 2015, Brent will be traded in the range of $55-70 per barrel, while the average price of a barrel will be $62-65, analysts, polled by the RIA Novosti, believe.

The total benchmark is $65 per barrel

"We adhere to the general guideline on the market: the price is expected to be $60 per barrel, plus or minus $5," - says Sberbank CIB’s analyst Valery Nesterov. This forecast is really general: chairman of research firm Alfa Enegry Group John Hall also predicts the price of $65 per barrel of Brent, and adds that it will be "traded in the range of $55-70 per barrel in the next few months".

The same opinion is shared by director of exchange-traded products department of Saxo Bank Ole Slot Hansen. "In the third quarter, we believe that Brent oil will be traded in the range of $55-70 per barrel, and WTI oil prices will be in the range of $50-65 per barrel, and by the end of the quarter, the oil prices are likely to fall to the bottom of the defined range,"- he thinks.
