Gas pumping tariff not to be changed until the end of 2016 in Russia

The existing tariff for gas pumping in Russia will not be changed until the end of 2016, the head of the Fuel and Energy sector of FAS, D. Makhonin, said.

Closer to the end of 2016 FAS will return to the discussion of Gazprm’s  tariff for gas pumping to independent suppliers. Makhonin reminded that the existing tariff was introduced in July 2015.

Previously Pronedra wrote that the agency had worked out the order on the increase of the tariff from July 2016 by 2% despite of the fact that independent suppliers had repeatedly said of the necessity of reduction of the gas pumping price.

It is said in the order that the tariff for the pumping of a thousand cubic m of gas by Gazprom’s pipelines in Russia and EEU should be set at 13.3 roubles. Beyond these territories the tariff might increase to 16.82 roubles. Rosneft and Novatek opposed such a tariff.
