Gazprom plans to increase gas extraction by 8% in 2016

​The plan of Gazprom’s extraction for 2016 was approved at 485.36 bln cubic m but due to the demand fall was corrected to 414.1 bln cubic m.

The approved plan of Gazprom’s gas extraction for 2016 makes up 452.45 bln cubic m, by 8% higher than the actual level of gas extraction in 2015, the deputy chairman of Gazprom, V. Markelov, said.

The approved plan of Gazprom’s gas extraction for 2016 makes up 452.45 bln cubic m, 15.6 mln tons of gas condensate and 38.9 mln tons of oil.

The actual extraction volume in 2015 amounted to 418.5 bln cubic m, including 8.4 bln cubic m of APG.

Markelov said that the maximum level of daily gas extraction was reached on October 22nd 2015 – 1 bln 555 mln cubic m with the potentially possible level of 1 bln 615 mln cubic m. the plan of gas condensate production in 2015 was approved at 15 mln tons, in fact 15.3 mln tons were produce, by 0.9 mln tons higher than in 2014. Oil extraction of Gazprom  group in 2015 reached a record volume of 36 mln tons, by 0.7 mln tons higher than in 2014. If to add the stakes in dependent enterprises, the oil extraction would make up 53.5 mln tons, he said.
