Transneft has promised to construct Kuyumba-Tayshet oil pipeline on time

Transneft reports that the Kuyumba-Tayshet oil pipeline will be put into operation in 2016, the Vice President of Transneft, A. Sapsai said. According to him, the company has chosen contractors for the linear part, recently the agreement on the gas pumping station-1 was signed. There are no delays. We are even ahead the schedule at some points, he said.

By today we have organized the full-scale works on the welding of the linear part, more than 200 km out of 700 km have been weld, the works on the route’s preparation go on: 500 km of the route have been cleared of trees, we have started the construction of the underwater passes: we have developed the underwater pass through the Angara river and go on working on the underwater pass through the Chuna and Biryusa rivers. The latter is crossed twice. The Vice President said.

According to him, in the summer 2015 it is planned to complete the welding works and carry out hydraulic tests and diagnostic examination
