Rosgeologiya has started the 2nd stage of the study of rocks at Gydan wells

​The enterprise has started the 2nd stage of laboratory-analytical study of rocks at the Gydan parametric well #130 in Yamal.

The planned depth of the well will be 6,500 m, at the 2nd stage – 5,100 m. The works are held by the state contract signed this spring with the Department for subsoil use in the Ural federal district (Uralnedra).

The specialists of KamNIIKIGS will assess the perspectives of oil and gas content and will hold the parametrization of the Mesozoic sediments of the Gydan upland. The well needs to be studied in detail.

Rosgeologiya will complete works at the object by Q4 2016.
