Russian Ministry of Economic Development reports about mistakes in Tatarstan’s proposal to prolong benefits for development of high-viscosity oil after 2022

The Russian Ministry of Economic Development has seen risks in the proposal of Tatarstan to extend tax breaks for high-viscosity oil production after 2022 for the development of new deposits.

A source of the Interfax, familiar with the progress of the initiative, stated that during the decision making it’s necessary to assess the feasibility of providing benefits for deposits of the Komi republic or to develop methods of differentiation of fees regime on deposits after 2023.
