Negotiations on gas transit via the Ukraine were held in Moscow

On August 28th, the vice-premier of the Ukraine, Y.Boiko and the head of Gazprom, A.Miller discussed gas supply from Russia to the Ukraine and its transit to Europe. Following the results of the meeting the press-service of the Ukrainian government asserted that the parties have managed to “regulate the question, concerning the autumn-winter period about Russian gas transit via the territory of the Ukraine and the provision of the Ukrainian consumers by gas.”
