Norilsk Nickel increases sale of copper by 3%

In January-June of 2013, the Norilsk Nickel’s proceeds from copper sale decreased by 3% as compared with the previous year and made up $1.27 billion. The average price of copper sale fell by 6% and made up $7.743 thousand per 1 ton. The volume of copper sales grew by 3% as compared with the last year and made up 165 thousand tons. On the whole, in the first six months of 2013, the proceeds from copper sale made up 25% in the total Norilsk Nickel’s proceeds from metal sales.
