Gazprom Neft involves hard-to-get reserves in development

The first multistage acid hydrofracturing was conducted in the horizontal well drilled in carbonate reservoirs of the Eastern sector of the Orenburg oil and gas condensate deposit (Gazprom Neft Orenburg). The works were fulfilled in the framework of the program of Gazprom Neft aimed at the development of hard-to-get reserves.

The drilling of horizontal wells with multistage hydrofracturing is the main way to extract hard-to-get reserves. This technology makes it possible to conduct several hydrofracturing operations at one well bore to increase oil extraction with simultaneous impact on a separate bed.
