Naftogas hasn’t founded reserves by the claim of Gazprom in Stockholm

Naftogas doesn’t acknowledge any reserves by the claim of Gazprom at the Stockholm Arbitration Court, is said in H1 report of Naftogas.

In June 2015 Gazprom renewed its claim asking to collect $26.7 bln ($18.5 bln by the previous claims) for gas which was not shipped by Gazprom but for which Naftogas is supposed to pay in conformity with the contract (take-or-pay principle). The management can’t predict the final result of these claims and doesn’t acknowledge any reserves by this issue, Naftogas reports.

The hearings at the Stockholm Arbitration Court have been held since June 2014. Since then the amount of mutual claims has significantly grown. According to Gazprom, its amount of claims against Naftogas makes up $29.2 bln. The total amount of claims of Naftogas against Gazprom is $23.7 bln. The company demands Gazprom to compensate it $12 bln by the gas supply contract and $11.7 bln by the transit contract.
