Yakutia to survive only due to sale of gas via Power of Siberia

Yakutia's economy will continue to be based on sale of natural resources. This was announced at the meeting on approval of the socio-economic development of the region over the next three years by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Almost 887 billion rubles of investments are planned to be obtained due to Power of Siberia, said the Economy Minister of Yakutia Valery Maksimov. This is almost 46% of the investments in fixed assets, which will be invested in the construction of the main gas pipeline and construction of necessary facilities at the Chayandinskoye field. The total investment in the fixed assets in 2016 will make up 459.7 billion, in 2017 - 499.6 and in 2018 - 549.9 billion rubles.
