The Novorossiysk Sea Trade Port, NTMP does not have spare sites for Rosneft shelf projects base, a source close to the port management claims.
On October 10th, the President of Rosneft, I. Sechin offered to the President of Russia V. Putin to privatize 20% of the port via the target sales of the shareholding to Rosneft, referring to the fact that the company needs the coastal base for provision of its shelf projects in the Black Sea water area. In the opinion of Mr. Sechin, NTMP is the most appropriate place for this purpose.
