Russian Government to allocate 38 billion rubles for import substitution in 2015-2017

The Russian Government has provided for allocation of 38 billion rubles on import substitution in 2015-2017, the Finance Minister Anton Siluanov reported.

Siluanov said: "the G​government pays a great attention to this area, since under the current conditions the import substitution and export promotion are key tasks. Additional appropriations for import substitution in the amount of 38 billion rubles for three years plus funds through redistribution of programs are provided". According to Siluanov, it will give the opportunity to create an own base for the replacement of key products for the defense industry and other sectors of industry.
