The Ukraine has described its energy dream

The “Poroshenko block” wants the liberalization of the entire Ukrainian Fuel and Energy sector.

One of the winners of the Parliament elections in the Ukraine, the “Peter Poroshenko block”, has published its vision of reforming of the country’s Fuel and Energy sector. It concerns both the plans already announced of turning to the European norms in the gas sector and the separation of Naftogas as well as new ideas on the restriction of the stakes of foreign gas and nuclear fuel suppliers for nuclear power plants or full privatization of the country’s coal sector with the shutdown of ineffective mines. Moreover,the “Peter Poroshenko block” insists on raising the energy tariffs and making them suitable to the economically reasonable levels.

Last Sunday “Peter Poroshenko block” was the 2nd in the Parliamentary elections in the Ukraine. In the project of the “coalition agreement” it has published its ideas on the reforming of the Fuel and Energy sector and achieving the energy independence.
