It is unclear who owns more than 40% of gas distribution networks in the Ukraine.

More than 40% of gas distribution networks in the Ukraine are in the form of the disputed property, the Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine, Igor Didenko stated during a round table.

"Today the ownership of gas distribution network includes: state, municipal, private, mixed and uncertain or disputed. The big difference between 1999 and today is that the disputed distribution networks in 2000 was less than 5%, in 2008-2009 they were no more than 25%, and today they are at least 40%", - Didenko stated.

At the same time, he recalled that in 2012 the Ukrainian authorities illegally decided on the free transfer of all public networks to the accounting balance of the NGOs.
