Snam hopes to participate in TAP construction

Snam conntinues to be interested in the purchase of a stake in TAP, CEO of the company, K. Malacarne said.
Despite of the intention of Snam to participate in the construction of TAP, none of the shareholders announced of their intention to sell their stake.
Snam plans to invest 400 mln euro into TAP, it will allow it to have a 20% stake in the project.
In June 2015 Snam already intended to participate in the project.
The interest appeared after the announcement that some participants planned to quit.
In May 2015 Statoil sold its shares in the Shakh-Deniz and South-Caucasus gas pipeline in SOCAR, BP and Petronas.
