Ichedinsky deposit has been connected to ESPO

INK-West (a JV of Irkutsk Oil Company, JOGMEC, ITOCHU Corp. and INPEX Corp.) has put into trial operation the oil pipeline from the Ichedinsky deposit that connects it with the ESPO.

The parties don’t release the amount of investment into the project.

The length of the oil pipeline is 48.3 km, it is constructed from the Ichedinsky deposit to the Yarakty deposit (belongs to Irkutsk Oil Company) which was previously connected to ESPO. Thus the Ichedinsky deposit turned to the regime of all-year-round operation.

In 2013-2014 before the construction of the pipeline the extraction at the deposit was held in November-March, hydrocarbons  were shipped to the Yarakty depositby ice road.

In Jan-October 2015, 208 thousand tons of oil were extracted at the Ichedinsky deposit.

The project extraction level at the Ichedinsky deposit will be announced after the completion of the additional exploration of the deposit. In 2016, 8 exploratory wells will be drilled there. On the results of these works further decisions will be corrected.
