Ministry of Finance has counted revenue of oil companies in 2015 and explained that tax growth is moderate

According to S. Shatalov, deputy Minister of Finance, the additional revenue of companies in 2015 is expected at the level of 400 bln roubles.

S. Shatalov said that the operational-monetary flow of companies in roubles sharply rose in February 2015.

The revenue of companies sharply rose in roubles.

It is not a surprise as the rouble ended 2014 with a 41% fall against dollar.

In 2015 it rose to 70.7 roubles/dollar from 56.2 roubles/dollar in early 2015.

According to S. Shatalov, the Ministry expects that the extraction growth to make up 1%, the drilling rates will temporarily stay and in 2016 the sector will make about 300 bln roubles.

All this gives the Government an opportunity to increase the tax burden of oil companies by about 200 bln roubles.

In 2016 the export duty for oil will be frozen at the level of 42%, and this will bring about 200 bln roubles to the budget.
