Rosprirodnadzor has found over 200 violations auditing Lukoil’s affiliate in Western Siberia

Rosprirodnadzor in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area has held another audit of Lukoil- Western Siberia.

On the results of the audit, 211 violations in the sphere of environmental protection were found. 118 of them somehow or another refer to avoiding the environmental law in the sphere of waste treatment.

Lukoil- Western Siberia is guilty in not controlling the influence of its economic activity on the quality of underground water at the places of its storage.

85 violations refer to the violation of requirements for geological study, rational use of natural resources and land protection, execution of project rates of the development of deposits.

Lukoil- Western Siberia was named the company of the year of the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area.

Before that, in April 2015, the employees of the company were awarded for a good personal contribution into the development of the fuel and energy sector and long-term employment.
