Average gas price from Russia on the border of Germany fell by almost twice within a year

Gas price shipped by the contracts from Russia to the border of Germany in April 2016 on average made up $144.7/thousand cubic m. This is by 45.6% less than in April 2015.
The Ministry said referring to the International Monetary Fund that the average contract price for the Russian gas on the border of Germany in April 2016 fell by 1.7% against March. On average in January-April 2016 gas price made up $161.9/thousand cubic m having fallen by 49.3% against January-April 2015.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development, the generation of electric energy and heat in Russia in April accelerated the rates of reduction in annual terms to 1.7% and 6.6% respectively. Gas extraction in Russia fell by 5% against April 2015.
