Position of Rosneft and Novatek on gas export is egoism

The desire of Rosneft and Novatek to export gas through the Gazprom’s pipeline system at reduced rates for transportation is a manifestation of selfishness. This position was outlined to the press by the gas holding company’s deputy head Alexander Medvedev.

In particular, according to him, the rejection of the export gas monopoly will lead to dire consequences not only for Gazprom, but for the country as a result the export revenue of the holding company and tax revenues will decrease.
