Edison has filed a suit against Gazprom in Europe

The Italian company Edison (controlled by Électricité de France) has instituted an arbitration lawsuit against Gazprom.
Edison intends to achieve more favorable terms of fuel delivery. The suit is also filed against Italian Eni. Other details were not disclosed.
Gazprom export confirmed to the agency Bloomberg, that an arbitration proceedings were initiated against its subdivision Promgas SpA. The Russian companies have expressed confidence that the issue of prices will be resolved with the Italian partners at the negotiating table.
