In 2014, MMK plans to transport 450 thousand tons of metal products by river transport

In the current year, Magnitogorsk metallurgical plant (MMK) plans to transport 450 thousand tons of metal products by river transport, the press centre of the company reported. The company uses it in its logistics the fourth year. According to a representative of MMK, the inclusion of river transport in the enterprise’s logistics scheme allows the company to reduce its transportation costs.
