Lukoil gas begun to return on investment in the West Qurna-2 project in Iraq.

A tanker, chartered by LITASCO (international marketing and trading subsidiary of Lukoil) arrived in the port of Basra in the south of the republic for oil loading.

This will be the first batch of fuel in the reimbursement of costs of Lukoil during implementation of the first phase of the West Qurna-2 field development. The ship will stay in the port for several days, during which 1 million barrels of oil will be loaded in it.

This is the first of scheduled tankers for transportation of cost oil, which is due to Lukoil on terms of service contract for development and production at the West Qurna-2 field, in 2014.
