BP has made an advance payment of 8 bln roubles to Rosneft for Taas-Yuryakh

BP has transferred 8 bln roubles to Rosneft as an advance payment in the framework of the deal on the purchase of a stake in Taas-Yuryakh Neftedobycha Ltd.
Rosneft and BP signed a document on the JV on the basis of Taas-Yuryakh. In conformity with it, Rosneft will sell 20% in this project to BP. The amount of the deal is $750 mln.
The JV will go forward on the development of one of the largest in the Eastern Siberia projects the Srednebotuobinsky oil and gas condensate deposit at which about 20 thousand barrels of oil are extracted daily.
