Russian Ministry of Energy worked out energy strategy through until 2035: the document sent to state agencies for approval and may be adopted in autumn

The Russian Ministry of Energy has finalized the energy strategy program through until 2035. The document has been sent to state agencies for approval, said a spokesman for the Ministry. The Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Natural Resources have received it and prepare their conclusions, said their representatives. A representative of the Ministry of Finance didn’t respond to the inquiry.

The energy strategy through until 2035 was planned to be adopted back in 2014, but because of the sanctions and falling oil prices, its consideration was postponed to mid-2015. It can be adopted in autumn. On this basis it is planned to prepare a master plan of the development of gas, oil, coal and power industries.
