In H1 pumping of Azerbaijani oil via BTC increases by 3%.

In H1 2016 the volume of Azerbaijani oil pumping via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) amounted to 14 million 930.79 thousand tons, which is 2.6% higher than within the same period last year, SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) informed the agency"Interfax-Azerbaijan".
"In general, since the moment the pipeline entered into operation (on June 4, 2006 - IF) till July 1 of this year the volume of pumping was 307 million 606.179 thousand tons of oil, including in June - 2 million 489.988 thousand tons", - according to SOCAR.

Gazprom and Eni are to sign a number of interesting agreements on the organization of the southern route of gas supplies to Europe.

Sauat Mynbayev: Kazakhstan not to qualify for the BG stake in Karachaganak.

Kazakhstan would not qualify for a share of BG Group in a "Karachaganak Petroleum Operating" (KPO) consortium, the head of the national company "KazMunayGas" Sauat Mynbayev stated.
The merger of the Anglo-Dutch oil and gas giant Royal Dutch Shell and BG Group of the British oil company was completed in February this year.

Eni and Statoil start the development of Goliaf on the Barents Sea

Oil production started at Goliaf oil field in the Arctic region.
Oil production started on March 13, 2016 at the offshore oil platform Goliaf. It was delivered after some additional agreements and delay.
Oil production at Goliaf is a joint project of Eni (65%) and Statoil (35%). The resource base of the project makes up 174 million barrels.
