Agreement on the construction of the "Nord Stream-2" has caused a lot of criticism in the European political circles. However, according to an article posted on the Information Resource Natural Gas Europe by an energy analyst at the Brookings Institute, Tim Boersma, European politicians and experts are missing the essence of the situation.

Paradoxical as it may sound, the construction of "North Stream-2" is a good idea, if the member states continue their efforts to integrate energy markets. And the fact that they have not done so until now does not mean at least some of Russian intervention, the analyst informs.

Matthias Warnig sells his share in EFESk

Head of Nord Stream Matthias Warnig has quickly become disillusioned with network engineering: as the Kommersant has got to know, in summer, he sold 46% of shares in the contractor company EFESk, half of which he bought in March. After him, the post of director of the company was left by the former top manager of FGC Leonid Mazo, who got rid of 17% of shares.
