We have built an intelligent news search and delivery engine that, every 2 minutes, goes out to over one thousand different Russian language news sites and returns with any relevant news based on keywords including companies, people, metals, mining, oil, gas energy. It automatically filters out any irrelevant stories and delivers the news stories to the editor’s desktop. The news stories are then selected and passed to members of the team for translation from Russian into English. On completion of the translation they are checked by the copy editor and then immediately e-mailed to the individual user based upon that individual’s selected criteria .So a news story appears on the users desktop or blackberry in English within minutes of it being reported.
