NIPIGAS to construct an oil processing unit at Moscow oil refinery plant

​The Moscow oil refinery plant and NIPIGaspererabotka (NIPIGAS) have signed a preliminary agreement in conformity with which NIPIGAS will execute a complex of construction and assembly works to put the Euro+ oil processing unit at the Moscow oil refinery plant, Gazprom Neft reports.

The approximate value of works makes up about 21 bln roubles.

The construction of a combined oil processing unit Euro+ is one of the key projects of the second stage of complex modernization of the Moscow oil refinery plant which is held by Gazprom Neft. The unit is meant for primary oil processing, production of high-octane fuel of Euro-5 class and vacuum gasoil. The launch is planned for 2018.

The putting into operation of Euro+ is planned to allow the Moscow oil refinery plant to increase the volume of oil processing to 12 mln tons a year. Along with the growth of the energy efficiency level and industrial safety of the plant, the reduction of the influence of production processes on the environment will go on.
