Moscow refinery intends to complete reconstruction of catalytic cracking unit in 2018

Moscow oil refinery, a subsidiary of Gazpromneft, has started preparatory work on the reconstruction of catalytic cracking unit, which will allow the enterprise to increase its annual capacity by 20% to 2.4 million tons, the company reports.

Thus, it is expected that the production of gasoline will increase by over 250 thousand tons per year, octane value in fuel will grow by 0.8 points, as well as the sulfur content in gasoline and hydrotreated vacuum gas oil will reduce.
