In January, coal mining in Russia grew by 3.3%, export increased by 6.6%

In January 2016, the coal production in Russia increased by 3.3% in comparison with January 2015 to 32.2 million tons, exports grew by 6.6% to 12.6 million tons, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports.

In the reporting period, the supply of coal to neighboring countries increased by 51.3% to 1.07 million tons, in the non-CIS countries - by 3.8 % to 11.5 million tons.
