In January – August, Russia reduced coal production by 1.6% to 223.976 million tons, including 28.18 million tons in August (+3%), the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports.
Coal exports increased by 3.8% to 12.731 million tons in August, including 11.797 million tons to far abroad, and 0.935 million tons to close abroad.
