In January – September, Russia reduced coal production by 1.3% to 255.8 million tons

In January – September, Russia reduced coal production by 1.3% to 255.8 million tons. Coal dispatch for exports increased by 13.2% to 105.8 million tons,  the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports. The fall in production happened mostly at  SUEK that reduced its yield by 4.7% to 68.9 million tons.The Vostsibugol Company reduced its yield by 3.6% to 11.6 million tons. Kuzbassrazrezugol increased production by 0.5% to 33.5 million tons . SDK-Ugol increased production by 1.6% to 19 million tons. The Yuznhy Kuzbass Company increased production by 8.8% to 11 million tons. Yuzhkuzbassugol increased production by 11.2% to 8.9 million tons. Yakutugol increased production by 0.6% to 7.4 million tons. Raspadskaya increased production by 23.6% to 5.9 million tons. Open-cast coal production increased by 0.7% to 181.2 million tons, underground production was down by 5.9% to 74.6 million tons.
