DTEK that insisted on Russian coal imports will buy 3 ships with South African coal

DTEK is going to buy out 250,000 tons of coal from the SAR that was initially contracted by Ukrinterenergo for supplies to the heat stations of Centrenergo energy generating company controlled by the state, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine Y. Prodan says. He claims that are the 4-6 ships that Centrenergo is not keen to buy due to the checks.

Because of inability to foresee the situation with Russian coal imports, DTEK can negotiate about further coal purchases in the SAR.

The MBA Rosaria ship with the fourth batch of the SAR coal of 84,600 tons is at the edge of the Ilyichevsky port but does not enter the port as yet. Two more ships with the SAR coal are awaited in December 2014. They are the bulker Rosco Poplar with 77,800 tons and the bulker Bottiglieri Sophie Green with 84,000 tons.
