Plant for production of gasoline and natural gas is built in Turkmenistan

Works on construction of a plant for production of gasoline from natural gas have been started in Ovan-Depe of the Ahal region of Turkmenistan. The project is implemented on the basis of the contract between Turkmengaz and a consortium of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Company, Ltd. (Japan) and Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanaýi ve Tiçaret Anonim Şirketi (Turkey).

The total project cost is $1.7 billion. It is carried out by investment funds of the Japanese side and the state-owned concern Turkmengaz.
