In January, Russia decreased coal production by 2.3%

In January, Russia decreased coal production by 2.3% to 27.317 million tons, and increased exports by 5.4% to 9.365 million tons, including 1.416 million tons of coking coal. Russia supplied within the period 694,100 tons to near abroad, 8.671 million tons to far abroad, and 1.208 million tons to APO region. Internal supplies were 15.698 million tons, including 7.858 million tons for energy sector and 3.038 million tons for coking, metal production.
