The Ukraine has received 80 thousand tons of coal from South Africa

​The Ukraine has received a new lot of coal from the South African Republic at the volume of 80 thousand tons, Vice Prime Minster of the Ukraine, V. Voschevsky, said.

“Due to the coal deficit and impossibility of supplies to Donbass, the Ukraine has to import coal. According to the Ministry of Energy of the Ukraine, in the process of preparation for the heating season Kiev plans to purchase coal from all possible suppliers, including from the South African Republic, USA and Russia”.

“We have an opportunity to cover our need in coal today. Today the first vessel at the Ilichevsky port is being unloaded – 80 thousand tons of coal from the South African Republic. The price is $65/ton. It is about the purchase of additional volumes”, Voschevsky said.
