Alrosa and Rosgeo are interested in Zimbabwe

Alrosa and Rosgeo are interested in working in Zimbabwe, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia reports under the results of the meeting of the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia D. Khramov with the Minister of Mines and Mining Development of Zimbabwe, W. K. Chidaqua and the Minister of Finances and Economy Development of Zimbabwe, P. A. Chinamasa.

Mr. Chidaqua confirms the high level interest of Zimbabwe in their mining sector development as the basis for growth of GDP of the state. He tells that Zimbabwe possesses large reserves of nickel, chrome, diamonds, coal and gold. For geological exploration, they need first of all equipment, including the Russian drilling machines.
